Sheikh Hamdan Leads Initiative to Enhance Efficiency, Performance, and Resource Sustainability Across Public and Contracted Entities
Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has directed the phased implementation of a comprehensive workforce productivity measurement system across all government entities in the emirate. The initiative also encompasses employees of private companies and institutions contracted by the government to provide services on its behalf, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to efficient and transparent governance.
The new system is designed to provide accurate and clear productivity indicators, enhance workforce performance, and raise the overall effectiveness of government entities in delivering services. By closely monitoring and verifying the efficiency of human resource utilization, the initiative aims to achieve sustainability in the allocation of government resources and ensure that financial costs directed toward personnel are optimized.
Implementation stages and responsibilities have been clearly defined, with the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai, the Dubai Human Resources Department, and the Dubai Digital Authority playing pivotal roles. Through this structured approach, Dubai seeks not only to strengthen productivity but also to set a benchmark for efficient government operations that align with the emirate’s broader vision for innovation and excellence.
This phased rollout represents a strategic move to modernize workforce management, ensuring that both public sector employees and contracted personnel contribute effectively to Dubai’s development goals while maintaining high standards of accountability and performance.
