UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Salalah today on a fraternal visit to the Sultanate of Oman, reaffirming the deep-rooted ties and mutual respect shared between the two Gulf nations.
Sheikh Mohamed was welcomed at the Royal Airport by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, who personally greeted him alongside a delegation of Omani ministers and senior officials. The cordial reception reflected the close historical, cultural, and diplomatic bonds that continue to strengthen cooperation across multiple fields.
The UAE President was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; along with a number of other ministers and senior officials.
The visit underscores the importance of bilateral relations between the UAE and Oman, as both countries work together on regional stability, economic growth, and cultural exchange.
