


Born in Poland and raised in Belgium from the age of four, Mateusz Krynicki grew up in a family that valued education and stability. His parents left Poland in search of better opportunities, teaching him that success came through good grades, university, and a secure job.
For a time, he followed that path. But beneath the surface, something inside him resisted the idea of a “normal” life. He wanted more — freedom, purpose, and impact.
In 2018, Mateusz began studying medical biology, a path that quickly proved uninspiring. By his second year, he decided not to continue. Hoping to keep peace at home, he gave education another chance, this time pursuing marketing from 2020 to 2022.
Despite excellent grades, his heart wasn’t in it. By the end of the second program, he dropped out again.
To most, it might have looked like failure. But to Mateusz, it was the beginning of something far bigger — his entrepreneurial awakening.

Around 2020, YouTube introduced him to a new world — young entrepreneurs making €10,000 a month online.
That discovery changed everything. “Why not me?” he thought.
He started with copywriting, earning his first €50 through PayPal — a moment that would forever stay in his memory. “That moment showed me it was possible,” he recalls.
From there, he found clients, wrote sales pages, and even traveled for the first time with his own money. But freelancing had its limits — clients saw him as replaceable. He wanted more leverage, more impact, and a business he could truly call his own.
By 2022, Mateusz launched an email marketing agency serving e-commerce brands. Within months, he built a small team of three and scaled to consistent €10K–€15K months, with peaks reaching €50K.
On paper, it looked like success. But internally, something was missing.
“It wasn’t human,” he admits. “I love conversations. I love helping people. I didn’t feel fulfilled working with e-com brands — it was too transactional.”
So, once again, he walked away — this time, toward a business aligned with his purpose.

In mid-2023, Mateusz pivoted into consulting, helping coaches, consultants, and creators grow their businesses.
Within months, he was closing €5K months, then €10K, then €20K.
Eighteen months later, his company, Upscale, now generates over €50K monthly — and it feels different.
“I adore my clients,” he says. “I love delivering real results. Seeing them grow fulfills me more than my own success.”
“When I first entered the French market, people were burned out,” Mateusz explains. “Too many fake gurus, too many scams. I paid someone €10K once and they delivered almost nothing. That’s why I started Upscale — so that doesn’t happen to others.”

“Money is nice,” he says. “But for me, it’s about delivering. Helping people. That’s what fulfills me. That’s what keeps me going.”
