CLIO takes shape in Dubai with the first 250 sqm, marking the concrete launch of the project.
Presented at Skydive Dubai, the first modules of the 10-kilometre immersive installation in the desert represent a decisive shift from vision to reality and set in motion a plan aimed at making CLIO the largest monumental artwork in the world.

At the heart of the event is Agron Hoti, international artist and creator of the entire installation. His freefall descent over the canvas was not only a symbolic gesture, but a tangible demonstration of the experiential model that will be replicated at CLIO Desert Park.

According to Hoti, “CLIO is not just a work of art, but a shared experience that brings together space, community, culture and inclusion. Flying over the canvas transforms the artistic gesture into a collective emotion, allowing anyone to feel part of a shared experience.”

The first segment
The 250 sqm presented represent the first module of a total of 25,000 certified units planned along the 10 kilometres of the installation. Not a symbolic fragment, but a functional prototype that anticipates the organisation of the entire path and how it will be experienced, including from above. The roadmap foresees the opening of CLIO Desert Park in 2027.

Strategic alliances
The project has been developed with the support of Shamal Holding, a Dubai-based diversified investment company that has supported CLIO since its inception and owns the Desert Campus Dropzone, where the artwork will be permanently installed. The event also strengthened the strategic alliance with Skydive Dubai, a key partner in developing immersive experiences that will allow visitors to fly over the artwork through dedicated aerial packages, reinforcing CLIO ’s positioning as a global art destination.

Experience and immersive dimension
The presentation took place at the Palm Dropzone of Skydive Dubai, one of the most iconic skydiving destinations in the world, as part of a series of exclusive project capsules. Skydive Dubai was not only a spectacular setting, but also an operational partner in testing the fly- over experience: Agron Hoti’s tandem jump with a team of professional skydivers demonstrated in practical terms how the artwork can be experienced from above through dedicated formats,
integrating art, performance and participation.

Leadership and outlook
According to Massimiliano Suglia, founder of CLIO Desert Park, the event marks the launch of a series of experiential capsules that will be progressively introduced globally, attracting international brands and agencies and consolidating the project’s position as a leading cultural destination. For Dubai, this milestone reinforces the vision of a city where culture, investment and experience converge. For CLIO, the presentation marks the transition from promise to a living installation, ready to engage with both audiences and the global market. Not a promise. An installation on the move.
